The story of Villa Imperium dates back to the 1920s, when Giuseppe Cocci Grifoni laid the groundwork for winemaking in Ripatransone. This passion for viticulture has been passed down through generations, culminating in 2006 when a descendant, also named Giuseppe, established the Villa Imperium brand. Nestled in the picturesque Marche hills, Villa Imperium spans 100 hectares, with 40 hectares dedicated to organic vineyards. Varietals such as Passerina, Pecorino, Trebbiano, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Merlot flourish in the local clay soils, resulting in rich, characterful wines.
