Torre a Oriente is a vibrant winery located in the picturesque Campania region of Italy, dedicated to producing exceptional regional wines and high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Under the stewardship of Patrizia Iannella, the estate thrives on a foundation of love and dedication.

Set amidst the stunning hills of Taburno, the winery cultivates indigenous grape varieties, showcasing the unique terroir of the area.

In addition to wine, Patrizia manages six hectares of olive groves, home to approximately 1,800 trees. The last harvest yielded nearly 200 quintals of olives, resulting in 30 hectoliters of premium olive oil. The Cuore d’ Ortice olive oil is characterized by its medium fruity profile and elegant taste, with aromas reminiscent of tomato, banana, lettuce, and beans.

A standout feature of Torre a Oriente is its ability to produce three distinct wines from the same vine by employing various vineyard techniques. The vineyard restoration process, initiated in 2002, has significantly enhanced both grape quality and production. An enchanting place. I would say fabulous from all its angles, both gastronomic and infrastructure. And the welcome is even more professional. Giorgio is a very knowledgeable gentleman, the most fabulous farmhouse I have tried in the entire national territory.

I was there for dinner on the occasion of a birthday, what can I say, everything was very good, local products at km 0 and traditional cuisine reinterpreted in a modern key. Fast service and the cook was very kind to welcome us and explain the menu. If you are in the area and want to spend an evening in a family environment, this is the right place 🍷 they also have their own oil production ✌🏻

A summer Sunday spent in the best possible way with an exciting food and wine experience: - regarding the food, we found simple ingredients but with incredible combinations. - from the wine point of view, an excellent pairing of excellent wines accompanied us throughout the menu (the very kind Giorgio enriched each pour with interesting anecdotes about each glass). - The place is very beautiful, renovated with care and respect for history. - the visit to the vineyard, surrounded by lush nature, was interesting and relaxing. We will return with great pleasure, perhaps in autumn!
