The Twins Wine Cellar is located in Kakheti, Georgia – an area gaining increasing recognition for its growing wine industry and the production of excellent Georgian wines. The region in which the winery is located is called the Napareuli region which is known worldwide as a distinguished wine microzone.
This unique Georgian winery was established by twin brothers Gia and Gela Gamtkitsulashvilis after they renovated their family’s ancient wine cellar
Twins Wine Cellar is considered not only a winery and cellar but also as the wine tourism hub of the area, offering a hotel for those wanting to extend their stays as well as a museum. This museum offers visitors a unique educational and fun experience to learn about the history of winemaking in Georgia and its unique wine-making techniques and traditions, particularly the use of the Qvevri.
