Write a reviewI recently visited a winery that has been delighting its guests with its craftsmanship and rich tradition since 1915. This place literally breathes historical heritage, gracefully intertwined with modern technology. About 70 types of wine are produced here, as well as sparkling wines, chacha and brandy. The modern plant, which manages to produce 5-6 million bottles per year, impressed with its scale and efficiency. The excursion turned out to be a real immersion in the art of winemaking, allowing you to follow the path of grapes from harvest to bottling. It was quite an adventure to watch the entire process that turns the fruit into a delicious drink. After the tour, we had an unforgettable tasting moment in the elegant company store. We tested the entire range of tastes - from homemade wines made from grapes purchased from the population, to elite varieties produced in small volumes. The atmosphere was so cozy and inspiring that I didn’t want to leave, and the desire to return completely captured me.

Excursions at 11:00 and at 14:30 or at 15:00, cost 90 GEL for four, if there are two of you, it’s still 90 GEL. Break from 13:00 to 14:00. The duration of the excursion is 1.5 hours. The tasting includes 4 types of wine and snacks.

This is a beautiful wine cellar accompanying a winery, with a great selection of Georgian wine and liquors including chacha. They have some of the finest red wines I’ve tried in the country - I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the Kakheti / Telavi area.

Excursions are available for groups of 8 or more. We arrived as a couple and were allowed to hike through the vineyards.
