Val Da Lenda Winery

My husband and I did a multi-day wine tour throughout the entire region of Galicia in October 2024 and this winery was one of our stops. Unfortunately the day we visited the owner got called away on a business emergency, but our private guide was able to step in and show us around. It was really cool that we got to go out to their vineyard along the cliffside and explore! When we came back, the owner's mother (I think it was his mother) showed us around the winery and hosted our tasting. Even though she did not speak any English, and we did not speak any Spanish, we had such a great time! She was so lively and fun! Our private guide acted as a translator and we all had a lovely time! She even let us taste some of their homemade fire water and vermouth. Best fire water and vermouth we've ever had! I dream about that caramel fire water! We hope they get the approval to start bottling and selling the vermouth later this year!! Thanks for a great visit!!

We went as a group of friends to visit the winery and wine tasting. It is a small, family-run winery. They explained the entire process to obtain the wine, both red and white. In the tasting, 3 red wines are tested, including a reserve, 1 godello, 1 vermouth and 2 liqueurs. Everything very good, with proper explanations. At the end of the tasting you can buy the bottles you want. You can pay by card and in cash.

Our visit to the Val da Lenda winery was a sensory experience. Victor is a great professional. He shared with us both his knowledge of the production process and the stages of learning wine tasting. Special mention of the good quality of the products. We will repeat!

An exclusive visit to a small winery in the Ribeira Sacra. They all exude passion and good work. Visit the vineyard where heroic viticulture gives meaning to these rich wines. Knowing how they work all year round makes it seem that tasting the products is even better. Víctor's explanations are a luxury, since in the Petit Committee you understand everything much better. Be sure to visit them so that their great little project is carried out and this area of Galicia is known in every corner.

Traveler's advice: Go see this familiar winery!!🤩 We have been to other wineries, and each one with its uniqueness, but we loved Val da Lenda. Laura has been EXCELLENT!! He has explained everything to us with closeness, pleasure, passion... He has taught us and made us learn without even realizing it! We are left with some of his phrases that have no disdain whatsoever😁 As for the wines, we were delighted!! EXCELLENT SETE TOLOS, both the wine and its history... A pleasure!
