Pazo De Señorans una Historia y Filosofía
Pazo Señorans, hoy reconvertido en bodega, fue un magnífico representante de las casas señoriales del siglo XVI, construidas en el campo con todo el encanto y señorío de épocas pasadas.
Pazo De Señorans, inicialmente propiedad del matrimonio formado por Marisol Bueno y Javier Marque (ahora también en manos de sus cuatro hijos, Marisol, Vicky, Javier y Santiago), inició su andadura vitivinícola en 1989, con una rica cosecha.
El nombre de Pazo Señoráns es de origen desconocido, no se sabe si el lugar da nombre al Pazo o es el Pazo el que da nombre al lugar.
Los enólogos de Pazo De Señorans creen en aprovechar todo su potencial, desde los vinos jóvenes hasta la capacidad de maduración de la variedad.
Para lo cual han desarrollado varios proyectos de I+D+I con diversas entidades y empresas, especialmente aquellos centrados en el estudio de variedades autóctonas y en el cuidado del viñedo y su impacto en el medio ambiente.
Los viñedos de la bodega
La bodega está situada en una maravillosa casa señorial del siglo XVI, rodeada de viñedos donde se elaboran vinos ecológicos. Los viñedos están compuestos íntegramente por la variedad autóctona Albariño. Se caracteriza por el uso de la vid como sistema conductor. al estar situadas en diferentes localizaciones, pero todas ellas en un radio de unos 10 km, y próximas al mar. El terreno tiene una gran capacidad de drenaje debido a que está constituido principalmente por suelos xaros, fruto de la descomposición de rocas graníticas.
Las características climáticas del entorno, junto con la morfología de los suelos (pobres, ácidos, arenosos y finos) proporcionan a las uvas su aroma y características distintivas.

We had a guided tour by Yago who showed us the entire winery and the manor house. Apart from everything we learned, the manor house is beautiful and the visit unbeatable. Excellent attention and kindness. The wines were very tasty, we bought a few bottles

Hi everyone, we would like to thank extremely the property, because not only of the fantastic venue and wine but also for the incredible professional individual that is behind the project. We were welcome and treated like royalty by Iago from the moment of the arrival to the tour of the Pazo it was all genuinely amazing. Also, the wines are delicious and the venue offers incredible opportunities for large events like weddings, catering. We highly recommended on your next visit to Galicia and certainly a place to come back gracinhas, Iago.

There is no better place than Pazo de Señorans to have your wedding. Recently had my wedding here on September 15th, 2024 and this will be a day I will smile about forever. My fiance at the time and I went to visit for a fun day at the winery with family who had previously gone here before. They kept telling us how beautiful it was and how much we'd love it. We were never planning to have a destination wedding in a different country, but when the doors opened to the property I swear I have never seen a place more magical and more beautiful. We were met with Andrea, my saving grace, an amazing wedding coordinator and an even more amazing person who was there for me every single step of the way. Planning a wedding overseas is not easy, especially on different time zones but Andrea was always great at communicating with me and answering any questions I had no matter the time or the day. The property is a magical place. Every single turn you take you witness more and more beauty, the beauty truly never runs out. The wine is incredible, all of our guests could not get enough of it! Our wedding guests called our wedding the wedding of the century and they cannot stop complimenting the venue, they are in awe. We owe this place forever for making such a special day so perfect. It exceeded our dreams, our vision and our happiness. We will always visit whenever we are back in the area :)

Simply amazing. I was at my sister-in-law's wedding and it was definitely the best celebration I've ever seen. Everyone worked perfectly. Very experienced. I highly recommend visiting.

The incredible visit!!! Javier has exceptional dedication and knowledge! My first visit to a winery and the bar is set too high!!!! It was a pleasure to have visited the Pazo, a spectacular and magical place! And the wines and the burning water beyond words!!!!
