Vía Romana Adegas E Viñedos nació en 1997 en una casa señorial del siglo XVI, que se encuentra dentro de la DO Ribeira Sacra en la subzona de Chantada. La bodega se encuentra en las riberas del río Miño en una orografía privilegiada que ofrece una vista privilegiada de las colinas circundantes. Vía Romana produce algunos de los vinos de más alta calidad: Vía Romana Mencía, Godello y Rosado, así como VR Barrica. Comprometida con hacer que los vinos sean aptos para beber en cualquier ocasión, la familia ha dedicado su tiempo a la elaboración de vinos de calidad.

Los viñedos de Vía Romana están situados en la región de Ribeira Sacra, conocida por la producción de vinos tintos. El suelo aquí se caracteriza por ser complejo y desafiante para el crecimiento de las vides, pero con especial atención y compromiso para elaborar solo los mejores vinos, la familia ha estado dirigiendo la empresa de manera lenta pero exitosa. Los viñedos están situados en valles fluviales y laderas de desfiladeros, y son conocidos por producir pequeñas cantidades de uvas con sabores intensos. Un ambiente continental influye en las parcelas, con veranos largos y calurosos y otoños agradables, ideales para la maduración de nuestras uvas. Todas las tareas en el viñedo se realizan manualmente y las uvas recolectadas se seleccionan cuidadosamente antes de llevarlas al proceso de vinificación.

A very nice place; the girl who looked after us and explained the entire process to us was very nice and friendly at all times. The wines were very good, 100% recommended. If the weather is good, I'll come back to enjoy the terrace and the view, as it rained today 😊

A wonderful visit, a luxury that was taught to us with care and charm by Paula, the winemaker who knows a lot about wine! He topped it all off with a tasting of Godello and Mencia wines, which are really delicious. Breathtaking view, highly recommended visit. Thank you!

Breathtaking view. It's a beautiful and cozy place. Absolutely recommended to visit. I would like to give a special mention to Laura, the girl who explained everything to us. It's nice to meet people who are clearly passionate about their work and do it in a fun and natural way. Thank you Laura!!! We also buy wine because it's GOOD.

Spectacular place, in a spectacular location, the wines are very delicious, you leave the place with a very good taste in your mouth and knowing a little more than when you entered, although after a first-class tasting you forget everything after 10 minutes. The winery is beautiful and Luis, the guide, is very friendly! We did the heroic visit where we got to go down into the vineyards and learn a bit more about how they grow their wine. We tried 3 wines and they were all delicious!
