Vigne del Malina: The Wines of Time

At Vigne del Malina, we believe that wine is a reflection of both nature and craftsmanship. The interplay of weather—rain, sun, and wind—shapes our vineyards, making each vintage distinct. As time passes, our wines mature, developing unique flavors and aromas. Each bottle encapsulates a story of its creation, showcasing our dedication to quality. We prioritize purity in our winemaking process, from grape selection to bottling, ensuring that every sip is a testament to our commitment to excellence.

The Company and Its Vineyards

Located in the picturesque Friuli Grave region, Vigne del Malina's vineyards flourish along the Malina stream in Orzano, near Remanzacco. Established in 1967 and revitalized in 2007, our winery honors its heritage while integrating modern techniques. With around ten hectares of carefully cultivated vines, we produce approximately 45,000 bottles each year. Our organic farming practices minimize environmental impact and preserve the land's integrity. Using Guyot training for our vines, we optimize fruit development, and our hand-harvested grapes undergo a slow maturation process, enhancing their flavor and nutrient concentration. Each bottle reflects our respect for nature and the unique terroir of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Wine Shop & Agriturismo

Our Wine Shop features a curated selection of wines available by the bottle and glass. Guests can enjoy wine tastings paired with local delicacies, including San Daniele prosciutto, Montasio cheese, and seasonal specialties. We also offer a variety of snacks catering to vegan and vegetarian preferences, ensuring that everyone can savor the flavors of our region. Join us for a memorable experience that highlights the best of Friuli-Venezia Giulia's culinary offerings.

This winery is, by far, the best we have visited. Its owners are good people, enterprising, committed, rooted and above all very professional. They know what they are doing and they do it with passion. The wines, really good. Three generations of winemakers have achieved a differentiated, unique product at the best level. I recommend not only visiting the winery and its facilities, but also trying their wines, at the risk of getting hooked on the brand.

We were introduced to this place thanks to a tasting package given to us by a friend. The wines, both red and white, are definitely top quality, the cold cuts and cheeses are super, all explained with professionalism and kindness by Erica. We will definitely be back.

On the occasion of our wedding anniversary we were given a tasting voucher. We had a great time, pampered by the sommelier Giovanna who accompanied us in the discovery of excellent quality wines suitable for ageing. Attention and respect for the environment, care, processing of the grapes and time are the perfect "ingredients" that can be enjoyed in every sip. The environment is pleasant and well-kept immersed in the green countryside with a beautiful view of our mountains... It is also worth a visit for an aperitif or a moment of leisure! Super recommended! We will be happy to return 🙂

Small cellar discovered thanks to a package, artisanal reality with organic production and particular attention to aging. The manager who welcomed us and showed us the young but perfectly functional cellar was very good. Speaking of the wines, the whites, as per Friulian tradition, are a bomb, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay both with around 6 years of aging, are decidedly interesting, the two reds tried, a Cabernet Franc and the Refosco DPR proved to be of the highest level . Definitely a great discovery, keep it up!
