Beautiful Villa il Pozzo in Tuscany
The Villa il Pozzo is a beautiful winery in the center of Chianti in Tuscany that has an 18th-century manor house along with an ancient watchtower and 60 hectares of land. Nello Gori purchased the estate in 1966. He worked with local producers and wineries before starting his own business with his wife Tina and son Alessandro to make large quantities of Tuscan and Chianti wines and export them worldwide. Currently, his sons run the winery with the help of his grandsons.
Vineyards and olive groves
The company has 60 hectares of land in Chianti Colli Fiorentini and the border of the Chianti Classico area. The vines are located on the southwest hills at a height of 250 meters. The soil has both clay, loam, and sandstone, along with beautiful shells and fossils. The stunning landscape makes the place very beautiful, and the microclimate is perfect for growing grapes. Cultivation takes place in accordance with nature and the seasons. Cabernet Sauvignon, Colorino, Merlot, Canaiolo, and Sangiovese are grown in their 30 hectares of vineyards.
