Villa Sparina's story began in the early 1970s when Mario Moccagatta and his wife Bruna purchased the estate, establishing the Villa Sparina farm. Their dedication and expertise quickly positioned Villa Sparina as a leading producer of Gavi wines in the Piedmont region. Recognizing the potential of the Gavi area, the family expanded their vision by opening the Ostelliere, a 4-star superior hotel, and La Gallina, a gourmet restaurant, in 2004, creating a welcoming destination for wine lovers and travelers alike.

A wonderful winery. A great restaurant, a very lovely hotel and a breathtaking view. The restaurant is of very high quality and the price reflects this - a restaurant that is worth every cent! The hotel is a boutique hotel - each room is individual with everything you need for a stay of 3-4 days. A beautiful pool away from noise and other disruptive factors. The staff are all around friendly, accommodating and simply service-oriented!

A magical place for a moment out of time! The villa sparina offers a splendid view of the Gavi vineyards. The wine offered is excellent, served on the neat terrace. The swimming pool is a little far from the hotel but it allows you to walk in the vineyards of the estate.

Here's a review for a winery hotel: --- I recently stayed at this winery and it was an incredible experience. The location offered convenient parking and the beautiful landscape was truly picturesque. The building itself was gorgeous, perfectly complementing the surroundings. One of the standout features was the floral garden bar, which was absolutely stunning. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had, and the wine was exceptional. The staff were lively and extremely accommodating, enhancing our stay with their friendly service. If you’re up for a walk through the vineyard, you’ll find a beautiful pool waiting for you. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food, wine, and stunning scenery.

A night in this hotel in a wonderful, peaceful setting. Devin meal served on a terrace with a view of the vines. Warm and discreet welcome. Spacious and nicely decorated room. Very pleasant staff at the reception, porter and in the dining room. Do not hesitate to buy their wine when leaving. Highly recommended +++

A truly magical place. We extended our stay and spent 5 nights here in the end. The staff are absolutely fantastic and make the hotel what it is. It has everything you need whilst maintaining a small boutique personal vibe. We will certainly be back. Also the restaurant is incredible - we ate there multiple times during our stay.
