Great Love and Passion for Wine is the Key to Success
The history of the winery Vini Olivetta began in the year 1879 on rented land, which later in 1920, Luigi Olivetta purchased it. Attilio, along with his brothers Augusto and Pietro, joined the business and continued his father’s work. In the 1980s, after the death of Attilio, his son – Luigi, left his job at Fiat Mirafiori and continued his ancestors’ legacy of winemaking. Today, the fourth generation of the Olivetta family is handling the management of Vini Olivetta, under the ownership of Marco Olivetta and his wife Elisabetta, and together established the Olivetta winery. With great passion and love, Vini Olivetta Winery produces top-quality red and white wines, under the finest appellations of Monferrato. With immense respect for nature and its surroundings, Marco uses 10 hectares of land to cultivate a wide array of grapes. He grows top-class Cortese, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, and Barbera, combined with fruity Bonarda, Grignolino, Merlot, and Freisa. All the grapes are manually picked and vinified in the ancient cellar. In 2003, he enhanced the wine production by introducing a laboratory – Enoasti, to analyze the vines before they go into further processing.
