Wein & Sektmanufaktur Harkamp: A Legacy of Quality

With nearly a century of history, Wein & Sektmanufaktur Harkamp is a family-run winery that has been crafting exceptional wines for three generations. Founded in 1926 by Anna and Franz Har, the winery began its journey in a quaint inn with a single hectare of vineyard located on the Flamberg in Sausal, Southern Styria. Over the years, the focus shifted towards premium wine production, leading to the acquisition of some of the finest vineyard sites in the region, including Oberburgstall and Kogelberg.

Today, the winery cultivates 11 different grape varieties across 20 hectares of its own vineyards.

Award-Winning Wines from Styria

In 2012, Wein & Sektmanufaktur Harkamp revitalized the historic wine cellar at Villa Hollerbrand in Seggauberg, originally built by Italian immigrants in 1897. This renovation created a dedicated space for sparkling wine production. The winery is known for its unique, certified organic wines, including natural and origin wines that showcase the distinct character of their terroir. Notable accolades include the Falstaff award for Salon Brut Reserve 2014 and Pure Wine Elements 2013.

With an average vine age of 25-30 years, the vineyards produce high-quality grapes that contribute to the winery's exceptional offerings.
