How Weingut Bärmann began?

It all began in 2013 when Frank Barmann returned to her homeland to build a winery. She laid foundations of the new Barmann winery on the stones of a winery from 1814 a mark from her ancestors. Out of passion for wine, out of love and enthusiasm for her homeland, with a lot of enjoyment and joie de vivre, The first vintage of 2015 was launched into the market. With the success of the released vintage, the winery flourished.

Grapes and Winemaking at Bärmann

Grapes are grown on sunny vineyards in Merdingen on the Tuniberg and in Ihringen on the Kaiserstuhl, and they ripen with great dedication to producing high-quality wines. The vineyards are carefully cultivated in order to end up harvesting extremely healthy grapes with low yields. The ripe grapes are brought to the farm as quickly as possible, where they are processed in the most gentle way. In this way, aromatic and round wines are obtained from optimally ripened fruit. In stainless steel tanks, wooden and barrique barrels, varietal and regional wines mature in the old vaulted cellar, which stands for the Baden wine region. There is a lot of manual work and love in every bottle of wine, which you can enjoy in your wine glass.

With lots of love and expertise, carefully crafted wines with a very good price-performance ratio. Always happy to come back. Our favorite is the Pinot Blanc.

We had a great afternoon, we received a friendly welcome and were able to taste delicious wines. The host took plenty of time for us and had a lot to say. Also showed us the cellar with the wine barrels and the vineyard. It was also very affordable. Definitely recommended!

A beautiful experience with Franck, tasting and visit to the vineyards. High quality of the grapes and passion of those who make wine produce excellent products not only for those who are passionate about wines! He sent us the love he puts in the bottle and we fell in love with it, thank you!
