Weingut Landart is a charming boutique winery located in Illmitz, surrounded by stunning lakes and adjacent to the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel National Park. Spanning approximately 3 hectares, our vineyards thrive in this naturalist's paradise, where visitors can appreciate a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Whether you choose to explore by horse-drawn carriage, bicycle, or on foot, the park offers breathtaking views year-round, from vibrant spring blooms to serene winter landscapes.

Neusiedlersee Wine Region

The Neusiedlersee region is one of Burgenland's premier wine-growing areas, benefiting from a unique climate that features long growing seasons, dry summers, and cold winters. This environment is ideal for cultivating grapes, particularly those used in producing exquisite dessert wines like Welschriesling-based Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese, which thrive under the influence of noble rot.

UNESCO World Heritage Site

Much of our vineyard lies within the UNESCO-listed Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel National Park. Here, both white and red grape varieties flourish on the gentle slopes near Parndorf. The region's mild climate, with around 300 sunny days each year, combined with diverse soil types such as gravel, loess, black earth, and sand, creates the perfect conditions for high-quality wine production. Generations of winemaking expertise further enhance the reputation of Neusiedlersee as a world-class wine destination.

Very clean and comfortably furnished apartment, with everything you need. There is even a wine fridge with wine/spritzers from the owners' own production :-) very centrally located and a great starting point for bike tours, walks/bird watching tours in the national park and also Heurigen tours in the evening.

The residential unit is very well maintained and designed with attention to detail. The family-style courtyard invites you to linger - especially the small garden from which guests can help themselves is very inviting and simply a great idea. Because there are only two apartments in total, it is pleasantly quiet. The stepless shower and the fact that there are two separate bedrooms are also pleasant. The location of the apartment is very central within Illmitz and all relevant points such as bike rental, bakery, etc. are within walking distance. Unfortunately, we weren't very lucky when it came to dining - either the inns weren't open or their kitchens had already closed.

Have been there several times. Great location, very friendly owners. Everything always fits. The courtyard is beautiful, the apartment is great. The family's wine tastes excellent.

Wonderfully furnished apartments with everything you need - especially with first-class wine. There are good wine taverns around the corner. Activities around Illmitz are suitable for the whole family. We'll be back :)
