The History of Imako Vino Winery
Imako Vino was established in 2002, and it has maintained its continuous growth to date. Founded by Dr. Risto Ljubotenski, today, the estate is standing on the strong pillars of the family’s legacy, dedication, and passion for delivering top-class wines. Over the years, many new investments have been made to improve quality. A two-column distillery, a modern cellar, extension of their assortment of spirits and brandies are a few of the successful expansions made at the winery.
In the Vineyards of Imako Vino
With vine cultivation on 650 hectares, the estate uses both indigenous and international grape varieties to produce wines.
