May the Wrath Be with You

A winery where unrestrained passion is poured into producing wines that reflect the unique characteristics of their respective territories. The Wrath makers are devoted to extracting the distinct fragrance, flavor, and texture of a particular terroir. For this purpose, they have adopted the ‘less is more’ maxim, so that they can produce a limited number of wines that are filled with attitude, passion, and peculiar characteristics of the specific territory. The limited-production leads to the output of high-quality products with greater concentration and more peculiarity.

Varieties of Wines Produced from Grapes of Various Vineyards

The Wrath winemakers acquire grapes from different vineyards around the California AVA. These vineyards receive appropriate climate and soil conditions to produce well-balanced grapes of exceptional taste. The estate San Saba Vineyard has implemented a sustainable farming program (SIP certified). In addition to protecting the environment, the sustainable farming program also enhances the quality of products to give an authentic taste.

Wrath Winery Manufactures Authentic Wines with Minimal Processing

The Wrath winemakers consciously and constantly work to ensure the purity of vines is retained in the wines they produce. They use the minimal processing method to make sure that the wines have remarkable taste reflecting their terroir. They also use specific indigenous yeast to heighten the texture and aromas of wines.

The Wrath winemakers manufacture wines faithful to their specific vineyards by applying various quality assurance techniques such as Intensive grape sorting, minimal use of filtration, and gentle handling during harvesting and fermentation.

Wrath produces wines from our certified-sustainable estate vineyard and selected properties in the Santa Lucia Highlands that showcase the personality of our local growing area. Our small production wines reveal attitude, passion, and an inherent respect for what a vineyard can give us. Our Winery tasting room is open Friday-Monday 11-17:00 and our Carmel tasting room is open every day from 11-17:00.

Sadly they were closed on our visit due to a water emergency. We bought bottles to go hoping it was tasty. Overall the wine was tasty. If I'm every back in the area again I'd love to visit again for a tasting.

Very very friendly staff. More than generous with allowing for tastings of various wines. Tasting room is very dog friendly. Obviously centered around customer experience. We enjoyed our flight and glass of Pinot. We will definitely come back if we end up in the area again.

I love the wines here, recently went back to try something new. Absolutely loved the Pinot ( KW RANCH), we finished the bottle. Luckily, the EX wines were on sale & I got a case. The scenery is always a plus.

Traveling from SF or San Jose? Head south! Worth the journey! Bring a packed lunch, sunscreen and a full tank of gas. My family and friends were visiting out of town and they had a blast. Kristen and Alex made them feel at home. The pinot noir selection is fantastic! Sabrine Rodems is definitely bringing Monterey county into the spotlight. If you have time, try their wide range of pinots. Theres the winemakers, the single vineyards and the EX stainless collection. Inspired by Led Zeppelin and ancient Rome, this family owned winery blends those ideas into their wines. Once you inhale that aroma, you’ll understand. The intensity and wrath is there! Def try the single vineyard tasting, you won’t regret it.
