We are in Moasca, exactly halfway between the Langa Astigiana and the Monferrato.
Many companies have made wine here in the past, but they focused exclusively on selling bulk wine in demijohns to private customers.
The winery is run by Luca Amerio (3rd generation of winemakers) , the current owner and oenologist, who, after finishing his studies at the Alba School of Oenology, immediately began to work, without having a clear idea of which path to take.
While studying for a degree in Viticulture and Oenology in Turin, Luca began working as an agronomist in a historic winery in Monferrato and then took over the family business and began a new adventure that gave birth to Tenuta il Nespolo starting in 2019.
The vineyards are worked by implementing organic fertilisers and green manures in alternate years, respecting the territory and those who live and breathe on them, leading the winery to obtain the SQNPI certification for integrated agriculture.
