Located at the edge of Moerbisch, just 500 meters from the Hungarian border, Weingut Grenzhof-Fiedler boasts a unique landscape of 30 individual vineyards on the gentle eastern slopes surrounding Lake Neusiedl. This diverse terrain allows for the cultivation of various grape varieties. The winery is managed by Gerhard, Bernhard, and Elfi Fiedler, who oversee daily operations. The warm summers and autumns, combined with the lake's ability to retain heat, create ideal conditions for the vines, resulting in wines that are aromatic and rich in character, including some of the finest dessert wines in the world.

Carefully Cultivated Grapes for Exceptional Wines

At Weingut Grenzhof-Fiedler, the vineyards are nurtured with care, adhering to organic practices that prioritize environmental sustainability. Each grape is hand-harvested, ensuring only the best fruit is selected, which helps maintain the natural flavors and aromas. The primary grape varieties cultivated here include Grüner Veltliner, Muskat Ottonel, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Traminer, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These grapes are transformed into exquisite red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines. After fermentation, the wines mature in barriques or wooden barrels, allowing them to develop their unique characteristics. Bottling typically occurs between February and May, reflecting the region's qualities and the winery's dedication to craftsmanship.
