Organize an Unforgettable Wedding in this Century-Old Winery

Affentaler Winery – Baden Winery Established in 1908

Dotted by mesmerizing stretches of the Black Forest, Affentaler Winery has its roots in the winegrowing region of Baden. The estate bottles its award-winning wines in a monkey-patterned bottle to give it a unique look. Established in 1908, the winery is a collaboration of 24 winemakers. Year after year, many members became part of the group and contribute their hard work and dedication towards the winemaking collective.

Several grape varieties at Affentaler Winery are selectively handpicked to make high-quality wines.

Change Always on the Horizon

Over time, the winery underwent many changes and joined forces with many other wine associations in the region. Later, Naturbauverein Affental grouped with the Winzergenossenschaft Eisental and formed Winzergenossenschaft Eisental-Affental. In 1981, the group built a new winery, equipped with the latest wine production techniques. Subsequently, a new wine cellar was completed, keeping in mind the increasing demands for high-quality wines. Today, boasting a new barrel cellar and a bottling facility, both companies produce top-class bottled wines in the Buhl sub-region, within the highest Baden-Baden wine cooperative standards. In 2015, the group decided to change the name of the company to Affentaler Winzer.

Grape Varieties and Event Space Available

With immense passion and a strong collective spirit, Affentaler Winery focuses on the cultivation of a few top-rated varieties including Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. These grapes are selectively handpicked to make high-quality red, white, and sparkling wines, paired with mouth-watering rosé and dessert wines, all within the finest winegrowing regions of Baden.

Furthermore, if you want to make your wedding a memorable event, plan your special event at the estate’s big wedding hall or wedding room. The staff also organizes weddings in the newly built romantic wine cellar greeting guests with a unique wine-food pairing menu.
