Unique Gualtallary

Zorzal Wines hails from Gualtallary, located in the northern section of the Uco Valley in Tupungato County. This region is renowned for its high-altitude vineyards, situated at approximately 1,350 meters above sea level. The significant temperature variations between day and night, combined with sandy soils rich in calcareous materials, create an ideal environment for producing terroir-driven wines. The estate features unique geological elements, including riverbed stones and granite coated with calcium carbonate, which contribute to the character of the wines.

Eco-Friendly and Natural Practices

At Zorzal, the commitment to eco-friendly practices and natural ingredients is paramount. The winery utilizes indigenous yeast during fermentation, enhancing the flavor profile of their wines. Designed with four levels, the winery employs gravity to transfer grapes, musts, and wines, minimizing the use of pumps and ensuring high-quality natural wines. Additionally, Zorzal incorporates cement eggs in their production process, which help to maintain freshness, intensity, and vitality in their wines.
