Bodega Alpamanta: A Biodynamic Winery

Bodega Alpamanta, a leader in organic and biodynamic winemaking in Mendoza, Argentina, has seamlessly integrated its architecture with its winemaking process since its inception in 2005. The name "Alpamanta" means "love for the land" in the local indigenous language, reflecting the winery's commitment to sustainable practices. As one of the few organic and biodynamic-certified wineries in Argentina, Alpamanta focuses on maintaining the natural balance of the ecosystem, resulting in healthy vines, abundant yields, and wines rich in aromatic complexity.

Vineyard Ownership and Philosophy

Located in Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, Alpamanta combines traditional winemaking with modern techniques. The logo features a lechuza (owl), symbolizing wisdom and protection. Founded by three European friends—André Razumovsky and André Hoffman from Austria, and Jérémie Delecourt from France—Alpamanta embodies a shared passion for winemaking. Their focus on environmental respect is evident in every aspect of their operations, with over 15 years dedicated to nurturing the land and vineyard. As André Razumovsky states, “It's the culmination of what we've been doing for over 15 years.”
