Bodegas Horola: Family-Crafted Wines in Rioja

Small, family-run winery. The visit to the winery was like when a friend shows you his house. We were a small group, therefore, you could say that it was an individualized visit, the explanations were not rushed, stopping in detail and responding to our concerns. After the visit we were tasting some wines, accompanied by a great "snack", during which we continued with the talk about the world of wine, without sparing the time of the owners and tour guides. The passion with which they talk about their "work" indicates their love for the world of wine. The next day we visited a large, old winery, and the visit went very well, but the close and warm treatment they gave us was no longer the same as what we found here, at Bodegas Horola.

Great morning visiting this winery with friends and two babies. Very good talk and great explanations of the entire winemaking process. Exceptional wines made with great care. We just opened a bottle and it is a luxury. We hope to return soon

Quality is better than quantity. Today we visited this unknown, small family winery and we tried the wines they make with so much passion and effort, unique wines that make you travel through your palate. They have made us feel at home, so much so that we were very late and we left because we had a reservation to eat, if it wasn't because of the reservation we would still be there. It is evident that they have it in their blood and that the wine they make is done with great care, from there come the wines which you cannot put down the glass until you finish the bottle, and if you add to this tasting them with the best sausage in the area and with family treatment, it becomes the best winery we have visited. 100% recommended. They want to expand the winery with an area for tastings with a porch which looked very good to come with good weather. We will repeat without hesitation.
