Izadi: A Collaborative Vision

Bodegas Izadi was established in 1987 by Gonzalo Antón, alongside a group of friends and business partners from Vitoria. Together, they launched an innovative winery in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, dedicated to crafting exceptional wines.

Commitment to Quality

Located in Villabuena de Álava, a town with deep roots in viticulture, Bodegas Izadi was built with a focus on producing high-quality wines. Gonzalo Antón's extensive experience in the hotel and restaurant industry inspired him to create Izadi, a wine that quickly gained recognition among gastronomes. By integrating modern production techniques and a commitment to continuous improvement, Izadi has developed a distinctive style that has stood the test of time.

Bodegas Izadi Today

In 2000, Lalo Antón joined the winery, enhancing its international marketing efforts and expanding the business under the Artevino name. This expansion led to the development of other projects, including Finca Villacreces (D.O. Ribera del Duero), Bodegas Vetus (D.O. Toro), and Orben (D.O.Ca. Rioja). Today, Bodegas Izadi continues to be a prominent name in the world of wine, celebrated for its commitment to quality and innovation.
