Bodegas Palacio De Lerma has been a cornerstone of the Ribera del Arlanza wine region for over a century. The winery's rich heritage is rooted in the knowledge passed down through generations, from grandparents to the current team led by owner Ramiro García Arnáiz. Ramiro is dedicated to preserving traditional winemaking methods while also experimenting with innovative blends to create unique wines.
Meticulous Winemaking Processes
At Bodegas Palacio De Lerma, every step of the winemaking process is carefully monitored by Ramiro and his skilled team. From the moment the grapes are harvested, a rigorous quality check ensures that only the finest grapes are selected for winemaking. While tradition plays a vital role, the winery also offers two distinctive wines known as ‘Radikal Wines.’ Rosarito, a refreshing rosé, is crafted from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha, while Barbudo showcases the pure essence of 100% Tempranillo.
The primary grape varieties cultivated at Bodegas Palacio De Lerma include Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Albillo Mayor. These grapes are the foundation for both the winery's classic offerings and the innovative Radikal Wines, appealing to both traditional wine enthusiasts and those seeking something new.
