We had an incredible experience at the Virtus Winery in Ribera del Duero. From the first moment, Javier made us feel at home with his passion and deep knowledge of wine. The tour was very complete, combining history, tradition and a detailed tour of the facilities, where we were able to see the production process up close. The tasting was exceptional: wines of the highest quality, well explained and perfectly paired. You can see the care and dedication in each bottle. In addition, the setting is beautiful, ideal for enjoying an authentic experience. Without a doubt, a visit totally recommended for any wine lover. Thank you, Javier, for making it so special!

We had a great time. We were a group of friends and Javier gave us a tour of the wineries, explaining to us with great care and detail everything that is most important. We also enjoyed the tasting at the end of the tour, it couldn't have ended in a better way! In general, everything was wonderful, an experience that I would definitely repeat.

Visita em Outubro de 2024. Interessante projeto em Ribera del Duero, diferenciado em todos os aspetos. A visita é muito intimista e realizada com muita atenção ao detalhe e qualidade. Os três vinhos desta Bodega destacam-se muito mesmo! Um especial agradecimento ao Javier por toda a disponibilidade!

Wow! What an experience. This was the best wine tasting we've ever been to. They had activities for the kids. Wine straight from the barrel, and great conversation made for an exceptional experience.

I was able to fully understand the winery manufacturing process through the introduction of Managing Director Javier. Virtus plans to export wine to Korea for the first time. We are very proud to be the first Koreans to visit Virtus 😀😁🤣 Currently selling 2 types of red and 1 type of white. We plan to sell one additional white product in 2025. The wine tasting with jamon was also good. White is There was a unique feeling of red wine. The red tasted like the heavy Tempranio variety. so We ended up buying 3 bottles 😀😃😄 If you want to go on a wine tour in Spain, I definitely recommend you visit. I recommend tasting it when it is sold in Korea!!!

This is not a commercial review, and I will leave the comment in Korean, English, and Spanish (by chat gpt :)) 이 곳 와이너리는 리베라 델 두에로에서 가장 큰 와이너리는 아닙니다. 하지만 이 곳 와이너리의 품질은 그 어떠한 곳에 뒤처지지 않는다고 분명히 말씀드릴 수 있겠습니다. 이 곳 Bodega의 매니저인 Javier씨는 저희를 차에러 내리고서부터 아주 극진히 대우해주셨고, 이 곳 와이너리의 역사부터 아주 친절하고 재밌게 설명해주셔서 이 와이너리의 신념에 매료되었습니다. 그 이후 와이너리의 내부 발효시설, 숙성시설 등을 방문해서 세세하게 와인 생성과정을 설명 들었습니다. 와인에 사용되는 포도를 선별하기 위해 상당히 많은 과정을 거치고, 친환경 적인 효모를 사용한다는 점이 매우 인상적이었습니다. 그 이후 오크통에 숙성 중인 와인도 맛 볼 수 있었습니다. 물론 이 와인은 아직 탄닌감이 강한 아기 와인이지만 와인의 아로마와 밸런스는 훌륭하다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 그리고 와인을 사랑하는 저로써는 매우 특별한 경험이었습니다. 그 이후 프라이빗한 공간에서 와인 시음을 했습니다Javier씨는 저희 가족에게 아주 상세하게 향을 설명해주고 시음하는 방법을 알려주었습니다. 결국 저희는 3병을 사고 돌아갔습니다. Javier씨는 주말인 토요일에 마드리드에서 저희를 맞이하기 위해 달려와주셨습니다. 그 덕분에 저희는 스페인에서 너무 좋은 추억과 와인을 경험했습니다. 다시 한 번 감사드립니다 :) p.s. #1 이 Bodega는 최근에 한국의 수입업체와 계약을 맺었으니 한국에서도 이 와인을 찾게 되신다면 주저없이 시음해보시는 걸 추천합니다!! p.s. #2 우리 가족은 이 양조장을 방문한 최초의 한국인입니다!! Javier, the manager of this Bodega, welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived and gave us an interesting and friendly explanation of the winery's history, making us fall in love with its philosophy. We then toured the winery's fermentation and aging facilities, receiving detailed explanations of the wine production process. I was very impressed by the extensive steps taken to select the grapes used in the wine and the use of eco-friendly yeast. We also had the opportunity to taste wine maturing in oak barrels. Although this wine is still young and tannic, I felt that its aroma and balance were excellent. As a wine lover, this was a very special experience for me. Later, we had a private wine tasting. Javier explained the aromas in detail and taught us how to properly taste the wine. In the end, we bought three bottles and headed back. Javier drove all the way to Madrid on a Saturday to meet us, and thanks to him, we had a wonderful experience and memories with Spanish wine. Thank you once again! p.s. #1 This Bodega recently signed a contract with an importer in Korea, so if you find this wine in Korea, I highly recommend you try it! p.s. #2 Our family is the first Korean to visit this winery!! (We visited even before the Korean importer, haha!) ### en Español Esta bodega no es la más grande en Ribera del Duero, pero puedo decir con confianza que la calidad aquí no tiene nada que envidiar a otras. Javier, el gerente de esta Bodega, nos recibió calurosamente desde el momento en que llegamos y nos dio una explicación interesante y amable sobre la historia de la bodega, haciéndonos enamorar de su filosofía. Luego, recorrimos las instalaciones de fermentación y envejecimiento de la bodega, recibiendo explicaciones detalladas sobre el proceso de producción del vino. Me impresionaron mucho los extensos pasos que se toman para seleccionar las uvas utilizadas en el vino y el uso de levadura ecológica. También tuvimos la oportunidad de degustar vino que se estaba madurando en barricas de roble. Aunque este vino es aún joven y tánico, sentí que su aroma y equilibrio eran excelentes. Como amante del vino, fue una experiencia muy especial para mí. Más tarde, tuvimos una cata de vinos privada. Javier nos explicó los aromas en detalle y nos enseñó cómo degustar correctamente el vino. Al final, compramos tres botellas y nos dirigimos de regreso. Javier condujo hasta Madrid un sábado para reunirse con nosotros, y gracias a él, tuvimos una experiencia y recuerdos maravillosos con el vino español. ¡Gracias una vez más! p.s. #1 ¡Esta Bodega recientemente firmó un contrato con un importador en Corea, así que si encuentras este vino en Corea, te recomiendo que lo pruebes! p.s. #2 ¡Nuestra familia es la primera coreana en visitar esta bodega! Beautiful and impeccable facilities with a green horse with a red hat five metres high in the garden as the icon of the winery. A visit that changes your concept of the traditional winery and becomes something more familiar and different. Personalized visit with Javier, who goes into detail in explanations for neophytes. They open their facilities to show all the work required to make their bottles. Tasting of their three elaborations, white Albiño Mayor, Tempranillo aged for twelve months in barrels and Gran Reserva. Highly recommended visit.

A unique experience, a personalized visit in which they transmit the love and passion of what they do. We were pleasantly surprised by this small winery where they take care of every detail, which results in spectacular wines. 100% recommended.
