Borgo Turrito, Worldwide Known Wines
Borgo Turrito is located in Borgo Incoronata – an ancient suburb short drive away from Foggia in Puglia. The winery is positioned in a protected area of approximately 1000 hectares in the heart of the Tavoliere di Puglia. Surrounded by the charming landscapes, the wine cellar, the pleasant showroom, and the vineyards are situated at a walking distance from the historic structure – Sanctuary of Mary Mother of God Crowned. The winery has also participated in many international wine competitions, and its wines are known worldwide.

The history of the Borgo Turrito winery was started in the late 19th century. For over more than a century, the winemaking family has been producing wines of exceptional quality. Combining passion, youth, and innovation, the current owners produces a broad range of wines, including high-quality red and white wines, in combination with delicious rose wines. These wines are aged and refined in wooden barrels, under controlled temperature.
Embedded in Beautiful Landscapes
In 2006, Luca Scapola took over the ownership of winery from his father and introduced new techniques in wine production. Covered wonderfully by imposing landscapes, the vineyards are stretched over an area of 12 hectares. At Borgo Turrito, the owner carries out sustainable agriculture practices, respecting the nature and biodiversity of the region. The production staff grows a wide range of vines, including Falanghina, Nero di Troia Rosè, and Aleatico, combined with fruity Nero di Troia Red for the production of red wines, under the Puglia IGT status.
