The Small Bressia Boutique Winery

Bressia is a very small and boutique winery in the Lujan de Cuyo region. A family- owned and a family-run winery, Bressia is the last name of the owners of this project. Walter Bressia, founder and winemaker brings together his family, Marita Bressia, Walter Bressia Junior, Alvaro Bressia, Antonella Bressia and Matías Dellacasa for keeping alive that wine traditions in the family. Bressia make wines that have history and tradition, every wine range has its own name and represent a big part of Walter’s heart. They work for quality and not quantity.

Minimum Intervention and Top Technology at the Winery

The project aims at making limited batches of wine and grappa of top quality. Every bottle made by them is unique, and customers can relish the qualities of each vintage. The concept of minimal human intervention is practiced keeping the grapes and wine as natural as possible. These techniques are supported by the best equipment and machinery. Chenin and Malbec are the grapes used by the winery to make red, white, rose, and sparkling wines.

Ageing in French oak barrels

The best grapes are chosen and taken to the winery for further vinification. They have French and American oak barrels to make wines with a hands-on approach and impart an oak flavor to the wines. The ageing takes place in a subterranean cellar which is almost six feet below the ground and has almost 500 oak barrels. Apart from wines, the Grappa expresses their Italian roots.
