The origins of the wine trace back to the Roman times when it was shared as a symbol of brotherhood and friendship. Another of Cantine Campana’s wines is Ortrugo DOC, which can also be either still or sparkling. This wine is typical of Piacenza and has a light green colour with a delicate aroma. Farmers in the area have produced this white wine since the start of wine making in the region. The Malvasia di Candia DOC has a bright straw colour and a characteristic aroma.
