Intimate atmosphere, the tables are far apart so there is no risk of finding yourself at an unexpected group meal hahahaha. All the dishes are really delicious, the staff is friendly, well trained and very welcoming. I highly recommend everyone to stop here and have dinner. Prices are normal.

Founded by the Montanari family, the Opera 02 Resort is a magical place nestled in the hills of Modena. The view is wonderful and the place is designed down to the smallest detail, creating a truly unique atmosphere. Creating an intimate and sophisticated environment often seems difficult, if not impossible, but Mattia and all the staff have done it brilliantly! I went for dinner last night with my girlfriend and it was fantastic as always! Dishes with attention to detail, balanced and above all linked to our tradition. The service was truly impeccable, the staff friendly and helpful. I really recommend this magical place to everyone, especially those who want to discover the traditions and good taste of our land!

The review is for the restaurant, I have never been in the rooms. Magnificent place with good food. Traditional cuisine revisited, but without exaggeration, the right compromise between novelty and tradition. Mattia, the owner, is a high-level added value. An expert sommelier who knows how to advise and amaze, a present owner who accepts constructive criticism in a wise and intelligent way. If you go I hope you meet him. Enjoy your meal!

We stayed 6 days in this wonderful and beautiful complex. The place is beautiful, on a hill and with a spectacular view of the vineyards. The attention and services were perfect. We had dinner twice and they were great experiences of modernized traditional cuisine. The tour of the Acetaia and the wine cellar with Viola was excellent. To put a but, the facilities although they are very nice, in some points they look neglected and need some other repairs. 100% recommendable.

The hotel is set above a lovely vineyard. Modern clean rooms and a nice breakfast buffet. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. They make vinegar and well worth a tasting.

An oasis in the Modena countryside

It is a stunning property on a hill in remote farmland. It's designed by people who love what they do. There are just a few great suites available and they are all within the wine barrel and vinegar distillery area. And, the restaurant is unbelievably great. The only problem we had was that is was raining the whole time we were there. Otherwise, we would have swum at the pool and sat on the back deck looking at the picturesque countryside. It's close enough to Modena and several stunning villages to make it a great getaway from the typical tourist spots. And, they had an electric car charger for free.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Opera 02. Upon arriving we were greeted by a few farm animals near the car park, and entering the building there was a fantastic aroma of balsamic. The decor and atmosphere were well done and we could see the tasting room? Keg room? On the way to our room. The room itself was also great, with a view and balcony looking out right over the vineyard, and it came with a robe for each of us. There was also a nice pool and patio area, and a wonderful restaurant.

For a stay in the beautiful province of Modena, this is the place to be: bucolic setting and tasting of balsamic vinegar and Lambrusco. The facilities (room, restaurant, spa and swimming pool) are of good quality. The staff is very friendly. I recommend.

Review is for wine and balsamic tasting. We managed to find an absolute gem with this Lambrusco wine and organic balsamic vinegar tasting at the O2 premises. The tasting was excellent value and Alice who hosted us was an absolute pleasure. Alice was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, spoke English very well, and we learnt so much about the unique area, some local history and the products on offer. She answered all our questions and we didn't feel rushed. For the quality of the wine and balsamic, being organic and hand harvested, the prices for products completely reasonable. We had a wonderful afternoon!

We had a wine tour at the property. We enjoyed it and the tour guide was as very kind. After the tour we had a tasting. Overall the tour and tasting were a bit short but still very nice. The wines are nice and of good quality. Prices of the wines are a bit high compared to other wine makers in the region. The property is beautiful so I strongly recommend going there and we might like to come back and stay in the resort for some nights maybe!

Super nice and great food, always again-

The room is nice, but the gallery is unfortunately useless. Showering is difficult; the entire lobby floods. A wonderful terrace in a beautiful setting. The tasting menu in the restaurant is good but not outstanding. Wine pairing is fair and reasonably priced.
