THE TERRITORY Casa Grazia Winery is nestled in Gela (CL), in the sun-kissed southern region of Sicily, where the gentle sea breeze meets the lush vineyards. This area is home to the largest coastal lake in Sicily, the "Riserva Naturale Orientata Biviere di Gela," which creates a unique microclimate that nurtures the vines throughout the year. The sandy and calcareous soils along the lake's shores impart a distinctive minerality to the grapes, enhanced by the salinity of the nearby sea. THE WINE CELLAR The winery is housed in a historic building dating back to the late 1800s. In the 1950s, the property was acquired by Salvatore Aldisio, a notable local politician who dedicated his legacy to the community. His vision included training young chefs in the winery's large kitchen, which is still in use today for events and tours. The Brunetti family now carries on this tradition, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. THE COMPANY Casa Grazia is rooted in a region rich in history and natural beauty. The vineyards, surrounded by the Biviere Lake Natural Reserve, benefit from the unique terroir that gives rise to exceptional wines. Maria Grazia Di Francesco Brunetti, inspired by her family's passion for the land, began producing wines that reflect the essence of this Sicilian paradise.
