On the northwest slope of Mount Etna in a natural landscape of bewitching charm lies ‘Terrazze dell’Etna’. A bucolic oasis where nature, passion and energy come together to create wines with volcanic character.
The winery was established in 2008 thanks to Bevilacqua family and today it covers 40 hectares in the breathtaking scenery of the Etna Park. The amphitheatre of terraces brings together indigenous and international varieties from ancient vineyards.
From the protection of the natural environment, the revival of the centuries-old traditions of the land, and the use of modern technologies comes our 11 wines, whose strong personality tells of a sunny Sicily, rich in tradition and passion. Cultivating, observing, slowing down, the moments in the vineyard are marked by an extraordinarily lively wait. A tale of grapes and passion, of harmony and ruggedness.

A wonderful experience on Mount Etna. A visit to the picturesque vineyards followed by a wine tasting at the winery. The fine wines were further enhanced by the expert explanations of our sommelier, Daniela. She succeeded in conveying her enthusiasm for the wines we tasted.

Nestled in the stillness of the black lava, the green of the vineyards, the blue of the sky, the yellow of the wildflowers, and the white of the butterflies, we spent four idyllic days, pampered by Daniela. The small house was perfect for four people, and the highlight was breakfast amidst the vines. We were blessed with a "divine sunset" during which we could taste the winery's wines, from the Metodo Classico to the Pinot Noir, including the Cirneco (my favorite), all accompanied by local cured meats and cheeses. Absolutely fantastic!
