Charms of the Family Farm

Restoring what was once his family farm, in 2004, Francesco Giostra Reitano renovated the abandoned estate of over 10 hectares. Though it had been left to the elements, it is now converted into a beautiful and luxurious promontory of Capo Rasocolmo. The vineyard, cultivated exclusively in DOC Faro, extends over an area of three hectares.

With the renovation of the ancient stone farmhouse, Tenuta Rasocolmo is now available to enthusiasts and wine tourists, with its tasting room and outdoor patio with a garden for events and ceremonies. The farmhouse has also two Suites, where you can spend a unique and customized holiday in a place full of elegant charm. Today, Tenuta Rasocolmo is characterized by being a Winery & Art Resort: a charming place where you can spend relaxing moments tasting our wines and admiring the family art collection on display in the house.

We wanted to taste and stay in October. We stopped but the Tenuta was closed for a wedding. The place is beautiful, in the middle of the vineyards. Maybe next time. 🥂

Enchanting structure surrounded by greenery, a small piece of paradise tailor-made for a couple who wants relaxation and beauty all around. My partner and I stayed here in August and everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. Beautiful room, a hydromassage tub in the middle of the vineyards and a tasting like few that we have tasted over time. An additional positive note for Rosario, a chef but above all a great entertainer and an exceptional person who pampered and pampered us from the first moment.

A magical, quiet place surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, where the passion for wine and the care of the vineyard are taken seriously. Hedonistic tasting menus are offered with presentation of the various Tenuta wines. We stayed two nights and were treated like kings. The only regret was that, not being a good oenologist, we could not enjoy the wine as it deserved. It was a pleasure to meet Francesco, the owner, discreet and always available for every need. A place that regularly offers concerts, theme nights and show evenings. I am happy to have been a guest of this place. PS: Greetings to you, Francesco and your staff. GS.
