Located at the base of Mount Erice in Trapani's lush countryside, Azienda Agricola Baglio Ingardia embodies the rich heritage of Sicily. Founded by Salvatore Ingardia, the winery is now run by his daughter Mariella and grandsons Nicola and Salvatore. They oversee every aspect of production, from bottling to marketing, ensuring the highest quality in their offerings, which include Extra Virgin Olive Oil, wines, and craft beer.
The heart of the winery is the stunning “Baglio,” a traditional Sicilian structure that dates back to the 18th century, originally built by Baron Todaro from Galia. The estate is home to ancient olive trees, cultivated using time-honored techniques that honor the land and its environment, producing exceptional Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Baglio Ingardia is committed to organic farming and sustainability, offering a selection of DOC Sicily wines and certified organic products, including an “Organic Natural” line. The winery features modern irrigation systems with a reservoir capacity of 45,000 m³, ensuring consistent water supply during dry spells and maintaining the quality of their fruits. Their dedication to organic practices has earned them numerous accolades, including recognition for their Organic EVO oil as one of the top 10 in the International EVOOLEUM 2022 competition. We can highly recommend the olive oil tasting. We were given a warm welcome and enjoyed a very informative tour of the historic farm. Despite the very busy harvest season, Giorgina took plenty of time to answer all of our questions and to show us how to taste olive oil. A great experience!

This was amazing! My husband and I tasted wine and olive oil and Georgina was the best host. You can see the love and passion they put into their products and the wine was honestly some of the best we’ve had. I almost never write reviews but this is a must do. We will be shipping wine to the USA as it was that good!

That was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do the wine red and the full tasting. But we were able to arrange to come by afterwards via WhatsApp. Unfortunately we arrived even later, but the woman still took half an hour after the shop closed for us and let us taste a wine and an olive oil and clearly showed us her love for the products and explained a lot. Super nice, not at all pressed for time or anything else. I'm sure we missed something, but I'm still more than grateful for this insight and the warmth of this winery! In addition to the friendliness, the 3 wines we bought (including the one we tried) and the olive oil are extremely delicious! I've rarely had the chance to taste such good olive oil. I'm already looking forward to conjuring up delicious things with it. Thank you very much! And the biggest recommendation for everyone in Sicily
