Join us for an unforgettable Wine Harvest Experience, designed for wine enthusiasts and anyone eager to gain hands-on experience in one of Portugal's premier wine regions. This unique programme offers the opportunity to take part in the winemaking process from vineyard to cellar.

Your day includes:

  • Winery Tour – Visit a local winery and discover its history, traditions, and winemaking techniques.
  • Vineyard Walk – Stroll through the vineyards and learn about grape growing, vine management, and the importance of terroir.
  • Hand Harvesting – Join the grape harvest and experience the traditional methods used by local winegrowers.
  • Grape Variety Identification – Learn to identify different grape varieties and discover their unique characteristics.
  • Traditional Foot Treading – Experience the age-old tradition of stomping grapes by foot, followed by a tasting of the freshly pressed grape must.
  • Wine Tasting & Traditional Lunch (Optional) – Enjoy a guided wine tasting paired with a traditional Alentejo lunch showcasing authentic regional flavours.

As a special keepsake, each participant will receive a T-shirt and a hat to remember the experience.

Experiência: try the wines at Casa Relvas Fomos muito bem recebidos, a Ana foi a nossa anfitriã, de uma simpatia e disponibilidade inigualáveis! O local é muito bonito com toque de modernidade. Que experiência espetacular! A Ana Santos is about love of pessoa, super querida e prestável. Depois de uma visita pela adega com uma explicação fantástica acabámos com uma prova de vinhos que foi ao encontro do nosso gosto. An Ana depois de conversar connosco escolheu os vinhos que eram sem dúvida "a nossa cara". Empresa familiar, todos a trabalhar no dia , mas com um sentido de inovação extraordinário! A repetir sem dúvida.

Casa Elvas holds a special place in my heart after my recent visit, and it's all thanks to Ana and Helena. Their passion for wine making transformed my learning journey into a truly memorable experience. Their warm welcome and genuine interest in sharing their knowledge made me feel like part of their winemaking family.
