Exceptional Wines from Alentejo's Unique Terroir
Beautiful Vineyards and Exquisite Wines
Monte da Raposinha is a charming family estate located in the northern part of the Alentejo region, near the scenic Montargil dam. This estate has been in the family since the late 18th century. In 2005, the current owner embraced her heritage by becoming a winegrower and renamed the estate in honor of her father, affectionately known as "Raposinha" (little fox). With 150 hectares of land, 15 of which are dedicated to vineyards, Monte da Raposinha produces around 120,000 bottles of wine each year. Each bottle reflects the estate's unique terroir, showcasing the dedication and passion that goes into every vintage.
Commitment to Nature and Terroir
At Monte da Raposinha, sustainable practices are at the forefront of vineyard management. A portion of the vineyard is already certified organic, with plans to expand this certification across the estate. The focus is on producing high-quality grapes while respecting biodiversity and the environment. All grapes are hand-harvested in 15kg boxes and meticulously sorted at the winery to ensure the highest quality. The winemaking process prioritizes the integrity of the grape variety, preserving the freshness and elegance characteristic of this unique terroir. Monte da Raposinha is dedicated to crafting small batches of exceptional wines that reflect the estate's commitment to nature and its distinct landscape.
