A Collaborative Winery in the Heart of Rhône

A group of dedicated winegrowers in Mazan came together to combine their expertise, harvests, and winemaking resources. This collaboration enhances the vinification and marketing of their wines. The spirit of unity, sharing knowledge, and evolving together is the foundation of Cave Saint Marc in Caromb.

Vineyards at the Foot of Mont Ventoux

Set against the stunning backdrop of Mont Ventoux, the vineyards benefit from a unique climate and diverse soils. The Carombais and Mazanais vineyards thrive on clay-limestone soils shaped by time, featuring old alluvial deposits and round pebbles. This rich terroir, along with grape varieties like Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, and Cinsault, contributes to the aromatic complexity of the wines produced by Vignerons de Saint Marc – Canteperdrix.

Crafting Quality Wines

The winery is committed to modernizing its facilities, focusing on efficient pressing and vinification processes. Located in the heart of the Protected Designation of Origin Ventoux, the Mazan cellar serves as the hub for winemaking operations. By integrating new technologies, the winery aims to produce high-quality wines that are accessible to all while ensuring sustainable income for its cooperative winegrowers.

I recommend these wines to people who like Côte du Ventoux. This winery has always had very good wines, including sparkling wines at affordable prices. (I have known it for over thirty years..) Although the staff changes, they are always just as friendly, they welcome us very well, if we want, they let us taste the wine, they give us advice and information. In addition, the smile is always there. Don't hesitate, go see it and you will be happy, and above all you will come back!
