The Symbolism of Domaine de la Mordoree
In 1986, Francis Delorme together with his son, established Domaine of the Mordoree. Mordoree is actually a color and also another name of the famous symbol of the domain, the woodcock bird. The Domaine has also other nicknames such as “La Dame Voyeuse” La Dame Rousse” La Remise” and “La Reine des Bois” which also represent the names of cuvées. The winery 58.5 hectares of vineyard area which located in Tavel in the southwest of the Rhône Valley.

The wine estate is entirely organic and has a biodynamic approach to the land and the cellar production. Harvest is carried out manually.
