Write a reviewWhat a wonderful time spent with Stéphane, the oenologist owner invited by Laurent, sales manager. I have known Clos Bellane wines for quite a few years from serving them in my restaurant but I had never visited the estate. We tasted about half of the range the whole thing would not have been reasonable for me about 25 references It's all in the finesse of the tastes the red or the tannins are only there for the structure certainly not to mask what whatever. White wines have minerality and over time 2.3 years a slight oxidation, a subtle oxidation that of great whites. In the Rhône valley in the center between Saint-Joseph and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, on the heights of Valréas, Stéphane proves to us that we can have wines at the level of the great Burgundy appellations. The estate is high in the valleys between Valréas and Visan, which are exceptional hillsides. The Echalats vintage is also exceptional... a treat.
