Chateau Piegue

On the heights of Rochefort-sur-Loire, a lovely estate and vineyard, where the history and tasting of various locally produced wines delighted us and our most cheerful and pleasant guide! A very nice room with a magnificent view. We were lucky enough to be alone, which was a plus. A very generous breakfast! Satisfied ++

Good welcome, the rooms are very pleasant, the breakfast is very satisfactory because it is varied. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you, away from noise and close to nature. We are happy that the owners preserve this heritage and wish them good luck.

Very nice break in the middle of the vineyards in this very well-kept little castle! The atmosphere is a mix of modern and authentic. Absolute peace reigns there. The breakfast is plentiful. And as a little extra: the possibility to walk through the estate surrounded by vines and finally to buy (and taste) the very good wines of the estate in the shop! I recommend

Our evening at Château de Piéguë went very well. We took advantage of the morning to walk around the castle, chat with Laëtitia about the estate and how it works, and buy some bottles. Thank you to her for her kindness and availability.

Great experience in a beautiful building! Spacious and well-equipped room. Functional kitchen for the 3 bedrooms and possibility to prepare dinner on site. Friendly welcome and quality wines. Breakfast is simply huge and plentiful. Very quiet and relaxing place.

We now have an accueil chaleureux in a lieu plein de charme. The view is superbe. The room is very pleasant, comfortable all around the bathroom. J'ai bien aimé le coin cuisine et la salle adiguë où j'ai aimé m'installer avant d'aller à la dégustation des vins.

Chateau Piegue is situated on top of the Loire countryside - it truly is a beautiful chateau and vineyard with incredible views. The chateau was charming, as was our room with wooden beams and with an incredible outlook over the vineyards and the Loire landscape. Laetitia was most helpful and we'll be savouring the wines for as long as we can resist...we loved our stay!

A really beautiful place. The welcome is warm and very friendly! The rooms are excellent, clean, very nice and modern. Very good WiFi. Breakfast is plentiful and very good. If you want, you can also do a wine tasting. Our personal insider tip is the Crémant!!! The only thing you need to know is that there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so maybe (if you like) get some good French bread and some cheese beforehand and then a bottle of wine on site, that's all you need here! 😀

A 1 night stay in this beautiful château. Fantastic service and a wonderful location. Very peaceful, we had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Came away with 12 bottles of their lovely wine. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderfull place to be. Opening the windows with a full sight on the vineyard, your room is in the castle. Service is perfectly managed ( Great thanks to Aurelie). After Tasting wines , which are produced by Leaticia- the Lady of domain- the opportunity to visit the cellar is a very nice bonus. Enjoy your Stay! ( I must say "Anjou" your stay!)

We had the most wonderful stay at the Château! The owner/winemaker even took time time to show us around and do a wine tasting with us upon arrival, even though we were there during the harvest (her busiest time). We also tried a few other wine tastings in the area during our stay and the wine at château Piéguë was easily the best we had! We ended up buying several bottles to take home and wished we had been able to bring more. The house keeper was incredibly kind and helpful as well, despite our inability to speak French. The room and views were absolutely beautiful and serene! I cannot say enough good things about this establishment and the people who run it!

Wonderful place to stay or just to stop and taste some wine. The tasting was free and open and the wines very nice. Very welcoming and warm. The rooms only seem accessible by stairs which could be a drawback for some. The table de hôtes dinner from a local traiteur was wonderful and they were attentive about our vegetarian preferences (a pleasure to come back to after traveling about). Not too far from the zoo biopark either, so wonderful family stay.

Very pleasant welcome in this fantastic château with lovely, clean rooms and great wine. Definitely worth a visit.
