The Sauvignon here expresses all its aromas with citrus notes from the ideal terroir which is the Silex Clay.
Gamay allows the vineyard to produce fresh and fruity Rosés as well as a light and gourmet red.
Cabernet Franc brings a more vegetal note to the wines of the Domaine and balances them.
Finally, the Côt, a very characteristic grape variety of the region, gives unique vintages, very colorful and rich in tannins.
Producer-harvester for several years, the Domaine des Pierrettes today produces on its 25 hectares of vines various emblematic grape varieties of Touraine.
These vines, surrounding the winery and the cellar, are crossed by the Loire à Vélo trails promising you an ideal and bucolic walk in the heart of the Touraine region.
After the effort, do not hesitate to stop at the cellar to discover the result of the work of the Pierrettes.
You can taste the wines, but also some culinary specialties of the region. Picnic tables and cold drinks are also available

Nice folks welcoming passing cyclists and walkers (velo de loire route) with wine tastings - all their own production from grape to bottle. We loved the Fine Bulles (fine bubbles), myself prefering the round and biscuity Chenin Blanche and my wife the more mineral Sauvignon Rose. Make sure to sample the 2 year aged Malbec - wow Oak, cave and velvet - it's 20 Euro a bottle so not everyday Vin! Anyway I came back with the car and bought 2 cases of wines!
