Biodynamic Practices at Domaine de Haute Perche

Founded in 1966 by Agnès and Christian Papin in Saint Melaine sur Aubance, the winery is now under the stewardship of their daughter Véronique, who initiated the transition to organic farming. The new owner, a Parisian accountant with a passion for wine, is investing in biodynamic practices. The vineyards are nurtured by respecting natural cycles, lunar phases, and the ecosystem, ensuring a holistic approach to viticulture. Guided tours of the vineyard and cellar are available upon request (Price: 5 to 10€, depending on age and group size), offering a unique view of the Aubance River and insights into the winemaking process.
