Established in 1892, Domaine du Vieux Pressoir is nestled in the charming village of Vaudelnay, located between Doué la Fontaine and Montreuil-Bellay, just 30 km from Saumur. This family-owned winery specializes in the renowned Saumur and Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame appellations.

Spanning 26 hectares, our vineyard primarily features Chenin and Cabernet Franc grapes, cultivated across two distinct terroirs: the Jurassic and Turonian soils. This diversity contributes to the unique character of our wines.

In 2020, we began our transition to organic farming, aiming to align our viticultural practices with a recognized certification. This commitment reflects our dedication to sustainability and quality.

Amazing tasting and cellar too. The selection and range of their wines is incredible. Very welcoming approach by the winemaker and their signature style of ripe grapes really works incredibly well and I've rarely seen winemakers excel in so many different styles.

Just perfect. We stayed for a weekend.. the space is family-friendly, we were able to have a barbecue, enjoy a charming house and .... each room has its own bathroom and shower 😉

Very nice tour of about 1h30 with a tour of the vineyards, the winery and the cellars, followed by a tasting of the excellent wines. An excellent oenological experience that is worth the detour!
