Condé Winery, the Passion of Winemaking
Francesco Condello, in 2001, decided to change his career after 30 years in finance to pursue his passion for winemaking and founded Condé Winery. Ever since the winery’s establishment, they have produced wines made from Sangiovese, giving a nod to the grape variety’s historical roots in the beautiful town of Predappio. It is believed that Predappio was founded in the third century B.C. by Caio Appio, an ancient Roman tribune, after retiring to cultivate Sangiovese.
A Winery with a Sustainable Philosophy
They grow the grapes in an organic way and produce varieties like traditional Sangiovese Piccolo, Merlot and Chardonnay at their over 110 hectares of land. The Condé Winery believes in sustainable agriculture, clean energy, and respecting the land and their agricultural and winemaking practices do justice to this philosophy.
