Joining in the chorus of praise for Francesco and his wife for the wonderful breakfast and dinners while we were there. My wife and I absolutely over-ate to a fault, such is the love in it we cannot leave anything behind. I measure their food against every single one of our stays in Italy to theirs; I have yet seen one topping them. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I am rating this agriturismo for the food...oh I said that didn't I?

The 8 of us (4 adults and 4 small children) had a fantastic lunch. The food was fantastic, fresh and plentiful. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and attentive to every wish. My only complaint was that I ate too much!

There were no more stars, otherwise I would have put more! The place is in the middle of nature between vines and lots of peace, the rooms are comfortable and customers also have a washing machine completely free of charge and for people who travel by motorbike it's a godsend! Finally (but above all) I would like to mention Francesco, the chef and the one who runs the whole house with his very nice wife: helpful, kind, friendly and affable, all qualities that are no longer taken for granted these days I forgot that his cuisine is fantastic!!! The road to reach them is a bit bumpy but... it's certainly not their fault😊

We organized an 18th and everything was perfect. Location, organization and food of excellent quality. Mr. Francesco, the Chef, is a fantastic person, available, he cooked unique delicacies and we were all satisfied ... The staff was also impeccable, always available and ready. I recommend the structure to organize an event but also to spend a weekend in the serenity of the Sicilian countryside

Absolutely wonderful! The property at Tarantola is in the perfectly picturesque countryside. We really enjoyed the wine tasting with the host Fabrizio - he is knowledgeable, charming, and entertaining! The dinner cooked by Francesco was truly exceptional. It showcased the seasonal ingredients of the area and had a beautiful “made with love” quality that you rarely get at a typical restaurant. You can tell Francesco loves his craft of cooking! Our favorites were the rolled eggplant, the stuffed mushrooms, the pasta of course… I could go on. The large breakfast spread was amazing too! The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and well air conditioned, with simple farmhouse decor. We slept great! Please visit Tarantola, definitely a gem of Sicily.

This is an absolute gem! Our family of nine did a cooking class here and it was amazing! We had 4 children with us and they loved making the pizza and pasta. The owners were so kind. They did a complete gluten free menu for the cooking class along side the regular menu. It was so engaging and the food was amazing!!

We stayed here for one night during our trip to Sicily and had a great experience, nestled within a vineyard surrounded by the stunning Sicilian countryside. The real highlight was Francesco who was extremely welcoming and cooked us the most delicious Sicilian evening meal and breakfast. He was able to cater for my requirements as a vegetarian and I was so impressed by the stunning meal he prepared, featuring a mix of starters that would impress even in a 5-star restaurant. After dinner, we sat outside with a glass of wine, listening to the sounds of night birds, including the scops owl and night heron. I would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone seeking a special Sicilian experience. We regretted not staying longer to fully enjoy Francesco’s incredible hospitality and cuisine. We would return in a heartbeat and stay longer for his food.

The Tarantola farmhouse is located in the Alcamo hinterland and is surrounded by vineyards, with the production of delicious organic wines and wine tasting experiences. The surprising novelty is the combination of catering, led by Chef Francesco: km zero, organic products expertly prepared with typical Sicilian culinary recipes. A riot of colours, flavours, authenticity and freshness!! Wonderful welcome and service, Francesco and his wife, exquisite, kind and helpful people. I agreed the menu directly with him, as I am allergic... everything very fresh, even the dessert with fresh seasonal fruit, washed down with a fantastic organic Nero d'Avola! Highly recommended!! We stayed here for the night during a trip to Sicily. We had such a great time, our stay felt very authentic and the setting within a vineyard and the beautiful Sicilian countryside was incredible. We enjoyed a walk within the vineyard where the views were amazing. Francesco was very welcoming and he cooked us the most delicious Sicilian evening meal and breakfast. I would definitely recommend a stay for a very authentic and special Sicilian experience.

The structure is immersed in the deep Alcamo countryside. I had booked for Easter Monday lunch for 4 people. Unfortunately, we were unable to have lunch because shortly after our arrival, our friend felt ill and we had to call an ambulance. Chef Francesco and his wife were fantastic both in welcoming us and in assisting us, putting themselves at our complete disposal with great discretion and delicacy. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, we were served an appetizer. We were thus able to taste, even if only in a small part, the authenticity and goodness of a traditional appetizer typical of Sicilian cuisine. I would also like to add that the chef had been careful to prepare lactose-free dishes for me. Unfortunately for us, the day ended in hospital due to transient ischemia. I hope that our friend recovers quickly and that we can all recover the day with serenity at the Agriturismo Tarantola and fully enjoy their delicious cuisine. I still feel like thanking chef Francesco and his wife for the treatment they gave us during our tragic stay.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, the Agriturismo Tarantola is the right place for you. It is somewhere in the middle of nowhere. The room is simply furnished but completely adequate. We spent 3 nights there and left feeling well rested. I had a nasty cold and was treated with medication. We also received valuable tips for the trip to Palermo. Not to forget the delicious dinner. A very beautiful place with a very special history! We really enjoyed our time at the winery. We particularly enjoyed the cooking class and the food from Chef Saverio! Filippo, Desiree and Saverio were super helpful and friendly.
