The Conte Testa family has a rich history of producing exceptional wine and olive oil in Sicily. Our estate has transitioned to a fully organic operation, and we proudly received official organic certification last year. We also hold the ‘zero kilometers’ certification, meaning that most of our products are cultivated and crafted right here on our land, ensuring freshness and quality.
Our wine selection is continually evolving. We offer bottled varieties such as Nero D’Avola, Cabernet Syrah, and Chardonnay, alongside a range of native Sicilian grapes. Soon, we will introduce Glera, Vermentino, and Muller Thurgau to our lineup. Each wine reflects the unique characteristics of the grape, providing a delightful drinking experience with vibrant flavors and inviting aromas. All our wines are organic, a testament to our dedication to the land and sustainable practices that have defined the Testa estate for generations.

Write a reviewJoining in the chorus of praise for Francesco and his wife for the wonderful breakfast and dinners while we were there. My wife and I absolutely over-ate to a fault, such is the love in it we cannot leave anything behind. I measure their food against every single one of our stays in Italy to theirs; I have yet seen one topping them. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I am rating this agriturismo for the food...oh I said that didn't I?

The 8 of us (4 adults and 4 small children) had a fantastic lunch. The food was fantastic, fresh and plentiful. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and attentive to every wish. My only complaint was that I ate too much!

There were no more stars, otherwise I would have put more! The place is in the middle of nature between vines and lots of peace, the rooms are comfortable and customers also have a washing machine completely free of charge and for people who travel by motorbike it's a godsend! Finally (but above all) I would like to mention Francesco, the chef and the one who runs the whole house with his very nice wife: helpful, kind, friendly and affable, all qualities that are no longer taken for granted these days I forgot that his cuisine is fantastic!!! The road to reach them is a bit bumpy but... it's certainly not their fault😊

We organized an 18th and everything was perfect. Location, organization and food of excellent quality. Mr. Francesco, the Chef, is a fantastic person, available, he cooked unique delicacies and we were all satisfied ... The staff was also impeccable, always available and ready. I recommend the structure to organize an event but also to spend a weekend in the serenity of the Sicilian countryside

Absolutely wonderful! The property at Tarantola is in the perfectly picturesque countryside. We really enjoyed the wine tasting with the host Fabrizio - he is knowledgeable, charming, and entertaining! The dinner cooked by Francesco was truly exceptional. It showcased the seasonal ingredients of the area and had a beautiful “made with love” quality that you rarely get at a typical restaurant. You can tell Francesco loves his craft of cooking! Our favorites were the rolled eggplant, the stuffed mushrooms, the pasta of course… I could go on. The large breakfast spread was amazing too! The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and well air conditioned, with simple farmhouse decor. We slept great! Please visit Tarantola, definitely a gem of Sicily.
