High end quality wine, beautiful location and view, and the service is outstanding. The attention to details has been a beautiful surprise, furthermore the food provided was delicious. It is impossible to leave from the tasting without purchasing few bottles as well as their olive oil! For those who will be traveling in Sicily, it is definitely a must to visit Di Giovanna Winery.

The visit to the “Di Giovanna” winery in Sambuca di Sicilia was a truly memorable experience. Immersed in the peaceful Sicilian hills, the winery offers an atmosphere of tranquility and a sense of exclusivity that make the experience unique. We had the opportunity to meet Klaus, one of the owners, who passionately told us his story and that of the winery, sharing anecdotes about winemaking and the care for quality and the environment that characterizes his work. Thanks to the tranquility of the place, far from mass tourism, we were able to fully appreciate the tasting of excellent wines in a serene and evocative environment. We highly recommend a visit to the “Di Giovanna” winery to anyone who wants to discover authentic wines and live an intimate and personalized experience in the splendid Sicilian countryside.

We had a nice surprise with a new and stylish tasting room. Excellent wine tastings with native vines and more, accompanied by cheeses (exceptional sheep ricotta made by the nearby shepherd) and local cured meats. Nicola has extensive experience in hospitality, knows the area and the company inside out. At the end the owner even stopped by to say hello. We had 6 bottles for personal consumption. Recommended for those who want to try a local/family business that pays attention to detail and quality.

During our recent trip to Sicily we dropped into the delightful Di Giovanna winery. We were greeted with coffee and local produce before we commenced a short tour. Nicola guided us through the vineyards and presses, sharing the rich history of this family run business. We loved our tasing of four wines accompanied by a substantial antipasta platter, which was enough for lunch. It was wonderful to enjoy local produce, fine wine and great conversation with friends old and new. Thank you to Nicola and his team. We had so much fun and loved the authentic Sicilian wine and produce. Salute!

We have such an amazing adventure with our wine tasting with Melissa! We all ordered wine to be shipped home. We got a tour on the beautiful facility nestled in a national park and enjoyed all the different wines we were presented with. They did an excellent job making sure all 5 of us left very happy even with very different tastes across our group. Thank you for a fabulous adventure.

Incredible ! Super nice experience, Nicola has been so kind, showing us the grapes, the vinification process and letting us taste amazing natural wine including one with ancestral method. I highly recommend it, it was the highlight of my Sicilian trip 🫶

Absolute recommendation!

Beautiful setting among the valleys of the Gesuardo oriented nature reserve. We spent a very pleasant morning walking through the vineyards and visiting the winery. We had a delicious, abundant and excellent quality food and wine tasting. A beautiful welcome. Thank you

Soooo... something we didn't know about Sicily wineries... you need to book a reservation. Unlike the wineries of California, where you can just pop in and out, you really need to book ahead of time. We didn't know this, and both a combination of incredible luck and incredible hospitality from the staff at the winery turned what could have been a bonkers crazy, hour long backroad drive across some pretty sketchy stretches of winding roads that pop your ears as you climb through the mountains, nearly drive off the road to avoid tractors, into an amazing experience. Now don't do what we did, book a tasting reservation. That being said, Dea and Nicola took what could have been a pretty fun, but disappointing end to our drive and flipped it into what was probably a highlight experience during our trip. Dea provided us with basically a private tour, even though we were 1.5 hours away from when they had actual bookings showing up where we met Klaus and Gunther the owners. The wines were fabulous, the food was superb and the views were mind blowing. Would recommend the trip up into the mountains for this one.

The previous reviews are not exaggerated, the winery is absolutely amazing! The nature and the ambience round off the tour and the subsequent tasting with culinary delicacies - absolutely recommended.

Perfect place to discover the wine of the area, you can see the work and passion they put into what they do, the owners are wonderful, we will surely return to try more wines.

After registering very spontaneously, Klaus gave us a personal tour of his business the very next day. Our previous impression of Artefakt was more than confirmed. We will continue to enjoy the delicious olive oil and the tasty wine. Highly recommended!!
