Domaine de la Camarette, a Story of Silkworms to Wine Production

Domaine de la Camarette originally worked on the breeding of silkworms throughout the nineteenth century. Mr. Fernand Gontier, purchased the estate, turned it into a winery. Then, his son, Pierre Gontier, took Fernand’s succession and started the wine production of Domaine de la Camarette with much sucess. The winery now produces wines in AOP Ventoux and Vins de Grapes. In 2004, Nancy Gontier, who is the second daughter of Pierre, took his succession and started handling the winery business with her husband.

In 2011, Domaine de la Camarette started following organic farming practices and received their certifications as an organic wine producer three years later. Domaine de la Camarette is located in Pernes-Les-Fontaines in the middle of Provence. They produce a wide assortment of delicious and high-quality wines of both red and white styles.
