Located in the picturesque Côtes-du-Rhône region of southern France, Domaine Des Maravilhas is a biodynamic winery with a rich history dating back to 1967. Founded by an Algerian wine enthusiast who recognized the area's unique soil and climate, the estate has always prioritized biodiversity and sustainable practices. In 2014, Jean-Frédéric and Morgane Bistagne took the helm, continuing the tradition of producing exceptional wines that reflect the health of the land.

The Unique Terroir

The vineyards thrive on ancient alluvial terraces along the Rhône River, where large stones, pebbles, and red clay create a distinctive environment. These natural elements play a vital role in vine health by retaining soil moisture, preventing erosion during heavy rains, and providing warmth to the roots during cooler nights. Additionally, the powerful mistral wind helps maintain a favorable climate by clearing away clouds and allowing ample sunshine to nourish the grapes.
