Decades of Winemaking
Domaine Pierre Riffault was born around the 1980s thanks to the hard work and dedication of Pierre Riffault himself. The winery is located in the beautiful Loire Valley, more precisely in the Sancerre appellation. The Riffault family has a long history of working in agriculture, and it was their passion for wine and for the terroir of this fertile region.
Passion That Runs in The Family
Today, this family business is managed by his son Bernard, who is a passionate winemaker and works every day to ensure that the soil, the vinification and the ageing procsses are carried out in the best way possible. At Domaine Pierre Riffault, everybody works all year around to study how to use the soil to its maximum potential. The harvesting process is an important moment at Domaine Pierre Riffault, as each vineyard is worked separately and with absolute care.
At Domaine Pierre Riffault the two main grape varieties grown are Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. These grapes are used to produce high-quality red, white and rosé wines.
