Domaine Thierry Cosme

Tanguy took us through the entire process: visiting the vineyard, the fermentation tanks, and the bottling which is done in 500 year old caves.. The tasting itself was also enjoyable, and the wine is reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Tanguy is highly knowledgable and clearly loves his position as a fourth generation vintner.

During a trip to Amboise with my parents, who are from Brazil, we had the opportunity to visit this cellar. It was an incredible experience, a wonderful welcome, the host was very attentive and friendly, not to mention the delicious wines. I highly recommend this experience, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

This was my favorite tour & tasting of our trip to Centre-Loire! Tanguy showed us around his vineyards and area where the wine is being produced and closed off with an extensive tasting of great, affordable wines. It was so nice to see how Tanguy knew everything about (making) his wines and it felt like he wasn’t doing a tour, but just telling us how he does things in an informal way, which was something we really liked! I would recommend visiting Domaine Thierry Cosme to anyone who seeks a peek into a family winery.

Very nice visit to the Thierry & Tanguy Cosme estate and their cellar. An excellent tasting. Tanguy & Thierry Cosme take the time to answer the questions we ask them. We highly recommend.

Brilliant tour! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome. The visit to the vineyards was enjoyable followed by the impressive cellar and relaxed tasting. The wine was excellent, everything you could want from such an experience. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Thierry Cosme in May 2024 for a wine tour, and it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. This vineyard, which has been in the same family for eight generations, offers a truly authentic French wine tasting experience. Our tour guide was the father, who made the tour even more special. He had a witty sense of humor and personable demeanor, and made our visit both informative and entertaining. He is clearly passionate for winemaking and he shared fascinating insights about the vineyard's history and their winemaking process. One of the highlights of the tour was the centuries old cellar, which was very charming. We had the opportunity to sample every wine on the menu, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality of the wines produced at Thierry Cosme. In fact, we were so impressed that we couldn't resist shipping 12 bottles back to America, and the process was seamless.

We had the fortune of having a very special visit with the father of this family run winery. We saw everything from the vines to the harvesting equipment to the vats and cellars. It was an authentic experience and the wines are divine. It was a privilege to tour this vineyard’s 8th generation winemaker!

Very nice discovery of Thierry's vines and cellar! A passionate person who speaks to you without taboos about his daily life, the winemaking process and the challenges of his profession, all concluded by a superb tasting! In short, a great moment, I recommend with pleasure!

My friends and I loved our visit to the estate. We asked a thousand and one questions and Thierry answered each of them with obvious passion and knowledge of his work (and also a humor that I more than appreciated). We visited the vines, the vats, the cellars (magnificent), and finally we finished with the tasting. It was a very pleasant moment during which we chatted lightly, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere. We were a thousand miles from a ''corporate'' and overplayed experience like there are elsewhere... The wines themselves were delicious, I had two or three favorites that I will definitely buy again! If it was not clear: I recommend 10000%!!!

We took a large family group on a tasting and tour. It was fantastic, very relaxed, interesting and authentic tour of a working winery and caves. Our host Tanguy was excellent and spoke great English. Everyone had a wonderful time and the wine was fabulous. Leave plenty of room in your car to take some with you.

The wine is amazing, they manage to give the white Chinese wine unique floral notes

A visit with explanations on the production of wine, vines, cellars and then tasting. Thierry is super nice, the wine is a delight!!
