Founded in 1997 by Roberto Luka, Finca Sophenia has gained acclaim across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The winery is named after his partner’s daughter, Sophia, and his own daughter, Eugenia. Situated in Gualtallary, a district within the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Finca Sophenia benefits from one of Argentina's most fertile regions for wine production.

The combination of high altitude, cool climate, and sandy, stony soils results in wines with ideal natural acidity.

Incredible experience! We did the blending activity and it was the best decision: not only do you get to know the winery and its vineyards, but you are also part of the wine world and create your own wine. The treatment by Lucía and Marcelo was the best, apart from the fact that there were only two of us in the activity, they never made us feel worse than other groups. If you want to escape from traditional tastings, this is really your choice!

We book a blending session. It consists of a visit to the vineyards and the winery where you taste 3 Sophenia wines without knowing which ones they are (you have to guess) and then you have to create your own blend from those 3. Even your label and your name. Beautiful experience, especially thanks to the attention of Lucía and Marcelo, two geniuses who made us learn and laugh at the same time, making the experience the best. 100% recommended.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! LUCÍA total genius!! Cheerful, entertaining and not only with absolute professionalism our guide, but also with all her passion and sympathy she conveyed to us the history of the winery and each wine we tasted! Excellent wines! We love Antisíntesis, its history and its taste!! The beautiful cellar!! Marce is also a genius!! We laugh a lot!! Visit and wines 100% recommended!! We already left and wanted to go back ❤️🍷

Excellent attention!! What a good winery, it is highly recommended to visit it! Really the attention of Lucy and Marce, geniuses. The tour of the vineyard and then into the winery is great. Not to mention the wines! The warmth of the attention and the experience itself are VERY GOOD!
